9 Guilt Free Sofa Tips

Like many budget-conscious consumers, we're big IKEA fans. If you are look for affordable
Furniture, they have a range of stylish, durable options that fit most home designs.
Most of the items that I have bought at IKEA have been surprisingly well made and
Long lasting, but when my husband and I had been searching for new sofas, IKEA was not in
My top places to look. One day, we happened to be in IKEA and, after hours of shopping, discovered our kids
Spread all over the Kivik sofas that were on display.
They all were proclaiming its amazing comfort. "Nope," I thought, "No way."
Sure did like the cloth. Along with the solidity of it.
my husband asked. I replied, "It will cost us about $1000" "Wow!
"No, for both."
So we left the store with two Kivik loveseats in Tenö light gray. With all the money we
saved, we also picked up the matching Kivik footstool.
IKEA Kivik Sofa Review
It appears that the Kivik loveseats have been a fantastic purchase. A year later, they still look
Brand-new. Initially, I tried to keep the kids and all of their friends off of the wide arms by
explaining that the arms weren't constructed for seating. Quickly recognizing my futility,
I'm now just trying to keep the cat hair off of them. The arms are holding up fine, even with
the wear, tear, and weight of rambunctious family members, friends, and pets.
The Kivik sofas have proved as comfortable as they seemed in the IKEA showroom.
The fabric that we chose was a nubby weave, and I think that has helped its staying power
because the fabric still looks new. (Based on past experience with similar fabrics, I have a
feeling that the cotton fabric covers would not hold up as well, but I have not tested those.)
My one complaint is that the seat cushions are constructed in a way where they Can't be
flipped.
I like to turn my sofa cushions regularly, just like flipping a mattress, to allow the cushions
to wear evenly. Though the cushions still look great, I don't like that these have a one-sideonly-
Use, so that side sustains all of the use. However, the back cushions can be flipped.
Though only time will tell the true nature of the Kivik sofas from IKEA, for the amount we
Paid, I've been quite satisfied with the quality and the comfort. In my home, the Kivik sofas
Have behaved and look like much more expensive sofas, and that is a genuine bargain, indeed!
